Registering with the Medical Centre
If you have not already done so, please register at the Student Medical Centre (BLOCK G) for all of your medical needs and advice. The services we provide are tailored specifically to students.
We have registration packs available to pick up from our surgery. You can also pre-register online.
Please do not wait until you become unwell before you register with us - we need time to get your details from your existing GP practice. You cannot book an appointment with us if you are not registered.
At times, the lines are busy; if your call is not answered immediately, please hold on and it will be answered as soon as a receptionist is available.
- Campus: 01904 724775
- Monkgate: 01904 342989
For routine calls, it is often a good idea to try to avoid the busiest times – early mornings and late evening – especially Mondays. In an emergency, ring the surgery and tell the receptionist the problem. It may be appropriate to take the patient straight to the nearest A&E department at York Hospital.
Have you moved house?
Please let us know if your address has changed. You can do this online by clicking on the link below, or pop into the surgery and fill out a change of address form. It is also helpful to let us know if your contact details have changed (such as mobile number or house number).
